I preside over the design, manufacturing and installation of custom Plantation Shutters from our workshop in Stuart, Florida.
We provide shutters all over the United States and the Caribbean and sell to home builders, interior designers, wholesalers and of course home and business owners.

Established in 2012.
I Started in the shutter design and manufacturing industry at a company known as Indian River Shutters, back in the summer of 1997. Indian River Shutters was struggling with several business challenges, including: inventory management, manufacturing efficiency and high quality control, and the firm's operations. Together with my mentor and fellow employee, Bob Florio, we grew the company to become the largest of its kind in the state of Florida. Late in 2005 Bob decided to leave the company to pursue new challenges. I was promoted to manufacturing manager and began to implement some of the successful strategies and tactics inspired by the disciplines of Kaizen, Six Sigma, and the Toyota Way. Soon we were producing up to 110 custom shutter panels per day. I credit Kaizen Lean Manufacturing principles, and some of my own more modest processes, in helping us capture a 5 year contract with the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach County.
